Bohol Negosyo Center (BNC) in cooperation with Bohol Investment Promotion Center (BIPC) and Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) established another series of free seminars this year under the Basic Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Transformation (BEST) program with the theme, “Gabay Negosyo sa Pag-asenso.”
BEST is a program designed to give the registered Micro-Small Enterprises (MSMEs) of Bohol an added value or benefit for registering their business. Bohol Negosyo Center aimed to reflect that the MSMEs are more privileged than those who belonged to the underground economy for the Center are conducting seminars based on the priority needs and interests of the clients (i.e. food, accounting, etc).
Bohol Negosyo Center continued its advocacy of promoting job generation and inclusive growth through the development of Micro-Small Enterprises (MSMEs) by providing services to registered business clients in the province.
The Center also provided expert advice and free consultations to the clients. They will know the needs of the aspiring local entrepreneurs through customer feedback forms that were distributed in every session.
BPIC and DTI are targeting for seven Negosyo Centers in Bohol. They are hoping to establish a Center in towns such as Carmen, Ubay, and Talibon which could be a means of another learning venue for start-ups. They are also hoping that these Centers would also implement the Bohol’s “BEST” program to guide all the aspiring local entrepreneurs of Bohol towards the road of success. (Bethyl Faith Alo)
